Superhero reflection
The Hulk (popularly known as The Incredible Hulk) is a fictional character, a superhero that appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the character first appeared in The Incredible Hulk #1 (May 1962). In 2008, the hobbyist magazine Wizard named the Hulk the seventh-greatest Marvel Comics character. Empire Magazine named him the fourteenth greatest comic book character overall, and the fifth highest ranked in the Marvel stable.
Spider-Man is a fictional Marvel Comics superhero. The character was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and writer-artist Steve Ditko. Hefirst appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15 (Aug. 1962). Lee and Ditko conceived of the character as an orphan being raised by his Aunt Mayand Uncle Ben, and as a teenager, having to deal with the normal struggles of adolescence in addition to those of a costumed crime fighter. Spider-Man's creators gave him super strength and agility, the ability to cling to most surfaces, shoot spider-webs using devices of his own invention which he called "web-shooters", and react to danger quickly with his "spider-sense", enabling him to combat his foes. When Spider-Man first appeared in the early 1960s, teenagers in superhero comic books were usually relegated to the role of sidekick to the protagonist. The Spider-Man series broke ground by featuring Peter Parker, a teenage high school student to whose "self-obsessions with rejection, inadequacy, and loneliness" young readers could relate.
Matte Substrate
Matte substrates comprising a water based coating composition and a base substrate. The water based coating composition comprises either no or only small amounts of mineral filler, refractory filler and/or organic filler and no other matting agents. The water based coating composition is typically applied to the base substrate at a coating weight of less than or equal to about 3 dry pounds of the water based coating composition per about 3,000 square feet of the base substrate. The matte substrate generally has a 60° gloss less than about 20.

The invention pertains to matte substrates comprising water based coating compositions and base substrates. The water based coating composition comprises only small amounts of mineral fillers, refractory fillers and/or organic fillers and may comprise no mineral fillers, refractory fillers or organic fillers. Other matting agents are not used in the invention. Matte finish, i.e. a dull, no gloss finish having a lack of any or significant luster, is generally achieved by applying a coating material to a substrate. Many different types of substrates can be coated with a material to develop matte finish. One application for such coated substrates is paper stock for books, folders, magazine covers, and coated paper board for containers. Another example is paper that is coated to create matte finish photo paper and printer paper. Matte finishes are also used is in the area of labels, such as package labels.

Girl Before a Mirror shows Picasso's young mistress Marie-Thérèse Walter, one of his favorite subjects in the early 1930s. Her white-haloed profile, rendered in a smooth lavender pink, appears serene. But it merges with a more roughly painted, frontal view of her face a crescent, like the moon, yet intensely yellow, like the sun, and "made up" with a gilding of rouge, lipstick, and green eye-shadow. Perhaps the painting suggests both Walter's day-self and her night-self, both her tranquillity and her vitality, but also the transition from an innocent girl to a worldly woman aware of her own sexuality.
It is also a complex variant on the traditional Vanity the image of a woman confronting her mortality in a mirror, which reflects her as a death's head. On the right, the mirror reflection suggests a supernatural x-ray of the girl's soul, her future, her fate. Her face is darkened, her eyes are round and hollow, and her intensely feminine body is twisted and contorted. She seems older and more anxious. The girl reaches out to the reflection, as if trying to unite her different "selves." The diamond-patterned wallpaper recalls the costume of the Harlequin, the comic character from the commedia dell'arte with whom Picasso often identified himself here a silent witness to the girl's psychic and physical transformations.

A reflecting mirror which is composed of a reflecting silver layer formed on a surface of a glass base body and a protective layer being made of alloy consisting of copper and tin being formed on said reflecting silver layer. Since the reflecting layer is protected by a protective layer, this reflecting mirror has corrosion resistance.

The present invention relates to a reflecting mirror in which a protective layer having corrosion resistance is formed on a reflecting silver layer.
In a conventional reflecting mirror a reflecting silver layer is formed on a glass base body and a protective layer consisting of copper is formed on said reflecting layer, wherein a coated layer is formed on said protective layer.
However, such reflecting mirror can not endure a long period of use either in a place of high temperature and high humidity or at a place of coldness. The reason therefor is that a protection afforded by copper does not sufficiently perform its role. For example, when a conventional reflecting mirror is subjected to an endurance test under an environment of a temperature of 60° C and a humidity of 95 percent, or when it is subjected to an endurance test of such temperature-humidity cycle as having one cycle of 2 hours with a temperature of 60° C and a humidity of 70 percent and 2 hours with -30° C, such damages will take place as corrosion, etc. on a reflecting silver layer. In this case, the copper foil in the protective layer is also affected without fail. In other words when the copper in the protective layer is affected, a metal reflecting layer is also damaged.
The object of the present invention is to provide a silver reflecting mirror having sufficient corrosion resistance.
For that end, the reflecting mirror of the present invention is formed by alloy consisting of copper and tin. The protective alloy layer is composed of 30 to 70 percent copper and 70 to 30 percent tin.
